LISBON SITY FULL DAY GROUP TOUR
THE EDUARDO VII PARK
Our Half-Day Lisbon Sity Tour will start in the Eduardo VII Park.
The park occupies an area of 26 hectares and have beautiful view to the north of the Avenida da Liberdade and the Marquess of Pombal Square, in the centre of the city and one of the most famous squares of Lisbon.
THE POMBALINE BAIXA
We will continued our Tour with a panoramic view over the heart of the city centre or the Pombaline Baixa . Is an elegant district, primarily constructed after the 1755 Lisbon earthquake, taking its name from its benefactor and a key figure during the Portuguese Enlightenment.
HISTORICAL CENTER-ALFAMA
Visits to the Lisbon Cathedral, the oldest church in the city, the St. Lucia viewpoints and the Senhora do Monte. It was once one of the city's biggest secrets, but it has been discovered... It offers a panoramic view of Lisbon, which is also observed by a small image of the Virgin that gives the place its name, "Our Lady of the Mount".
THE BAIRRO ALTO
Although central to Lisbon, it is normally identified by a different urban nucleus. The Bairro Alto districti is generally a youth-oriented heart of the sub-culture and nightlife of Lisbon.
It is also an important cultural area, with several museums and theatres, including the opera.
CHRIST THE KING
We will continued our Tour and Cross the Bridge the 25th April and visit the statue of The Christ the King - it is one of the symbols of Lisbon, which enables panoramic views of the city of Lisbon, the Tagus River and the 25 de Abril Bridge.
The giant statue in cement was erected to express gratitude because the Portuguese were spared the effects of World War II.

Next stop for a traditional Portuguese lunch.
BELÉM
Next we will go to Belem where we will seeThe church and the monastery, like the nearby Torre de Belém and the Pattern of Discoveriess - it is symbols the Portuguese Age of Discovery.
And...You can not miss to try the famous Pastel in the Antiga Confeitaria de Belém, home to what is arguably the Holy Grail of Portuguese sweets: pastéis de Belém, the recipe for which has been a secret for centuries.

Visits to the Lisbon Cathedral, the oldest church in the city, whose first building was completed between 1147 and the first decades of the 13th century in Late Romanesque style.
BEST VIEWPOINTS OF ALFAMA
Next point to visit it´s St Lucia viewpoints and Our Lady of the Mount. Behind the image is a small chapel from the 1700s, which is almost always closed. According to an old legend, pregnant women who sat on the stone chair inside would have a problem-free childbirth.

BELÉM
Next we will go to the fringes of Lisbon - Belém. This picturesque place is known as the historic district of the Age of Discovery and have two shrines that every year draw hundreds of thousands of pilgrims... It was from its waterfront that Vasco da Gama and other explorers departed for their voyages, events celebrated today by grand monuments and museums in the neighborhood.
