HISTORICAL CENTER OF SINTRA
We will start to visit the special Sintra by passing through the historical center of the city. There you can see the beautiful old streets and take pictures of the National Palace. Oh, by the way, remember to ask for a delicious cup of Portuguese coffee and also for a "travesseiro", or a “queijada”typical délicatesses from this romantic place.
PENA PALACE
From the center let’s move to the Pena Palace. You will be amazed with this special monument built on a rock at 500 meters of altitude with views over the whole coast of the great Lisbon’s district. Come and see how this construction puts together different architectural styles and symbols from the old Portugal, including the Gothic-Manueline style. It is one of the most attractive visits of the region.
ASTOUNDING MANSIONS AND MANOR-HOMES
While driving up the mountain you’ll be amazed with some manor-houses and elegant old mansions protected and almost hidden by very old and elegant trees. This is characteristic of this very special place.
LUNCH TIME
Next stop will be for a tasty break. Let’s have a traditional Portuguese lunch!
ROCA CAPE
Feeling delighted now? Ok. Let’s move to the most westerly point of Europe – the Roca Cape, an amazing point with views to a lot of open blue space.
NOTE: From November to March, due to weather conditions, this visit may be replaced by a visit to “Boca do Inferno” (Hell’s Mouth), a mythical cave 20 meters height made by theAtlantic ocean.
GUINCHO BEACH
Driving by protected areas throughout a mountain by the coast with views to the ocean we arrive to the Estoril Coast. Among many others it also features “Praia do Guincho”, a huge wild beach and a world famous spot perfect for the most challenging surfing and windsurfing activities! Due to its incredible natural characteristics it was chosen to shoot a James Bond movie: ‘On her majesty’s Secret Service’. Be prepared to a lot of wind though…
CASCAIS
Let’s move now to our last stop - the bay of Cascais. A very special and particular village formed since the twelfth century, it is well preserved until today. This place was the former summer residence of the Portuguese royal family as well as the Spanish one, former king Juan Carlos was raised in Cascais. You will find many different beaches, cafes, gardens, shops, a Marina and so the like.

Going back…
Yes, time to go now but… before leaving to Lisbon, you will have a panoramic view over Estoril. It’s famous for its casino and stunning gardens around it. You are expected to be back to your berthing in Lisbon by around 06h00 p.m.).
