With our local experienced guide, you will learn the history behind the city, through the magnificent squares of Restauradores, Rossio and Commerce. 

You will meet the old Alfama, the fabulous neighborhood around St. Jorge Castle and the beautiful narrow streets, full of history and traditions. You will pass by the one of the most important Churches and an old Cathedral dated from the 12th Century.

Throughout this tour we will visit historic stores and cafés. Places where you can have a snack and recharge your "batteries" to continue  your walk, tasting new flavors and discovering the events and curiosities connected with these places and their people.

Besides all that, if you want you can also taste a delicious Port Wine or Ginja (Hmmm! A divine liqueur part of the many Portuguese liquours) in the old part of the city.

In case you select to take the whole day tour with us, we'll have a lunch break of around one hour. We can advice you where to go or you can explore the place on your own. Your choice. 

After lunch, enjoy a tram ride to Belém, a very famous neighborhood full of things to discover, along Tejo river, and strongly connected to the Portuguese Maritime Discoveries during 15th and 16th Centuries.

Admire there, one of the most gorgeous monuments of Lisbon. A treasure of the Manueline ar,t the emblematic Jerónimos Monastery and spend some time strolling around Belém Tower, a famous and emblematic fortress on the banks of the River.

See where the famous explorer Vasco da Gama began his expedition to India.

And take a peek at the National Carriage Museum, home of a fabulous collection of horse drawn carriages from the Monarc period.  
part of the Humanity’s Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. 

And if you already are in Belem, you should visit to one specific place of this destrict (This is like "Go to Rome and see the Pope" :) ) where you will find the "Pastéis de Belém" factory, and... where you can not miss to try the famous Portuguese pastry which has been declares Humanity’s Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. 

At the end of the day, say goodbye to your guide at the agreed upon departure point.
